Manchester United are nearing a deal to sign Paulo Dybala from Juventus but how will he fit into their squad?
The Red Devils have reached an agreement with Juventus over a swap deal involving Romelu Lukaku and Dybala but the completion of the deal is now solely dependent on Dybala.
It is claimed that Dybala’s agent arrived London on Tuesday and has been locked in talks with United over a possible deal for his client.
Dybala has fallen down the selection pecking order of the Old Lady, who have sanctioned a move for the player.
Co-incidentally, Lukaku wants out of United and he has set his sight on a move to the Serie A albeit he has been subject of a bid from Inter Milan.
Meanwhile, United are looking to sign an attacking midfielder. While they have been heavily linked with a move for Bruno Fernandes, they are now taking advantage of the availability of Dybala to land him.
United are looking to sign Dybala before the close of the window and his arrival will certainly change the outlook of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad.
Dybala can play as a typical number or behind the striker. He has the uncanny ability to break defenses with his inch-perfect passes.
United lacked creativity in the middle of the pack last season, this is exactly what Dybala will bring to the side.
He will set him to play ahead of Matic and Pogba, with the aforementioned French star given freedom roam the length and breadth of the pitch.
Dybala can play as a winger or pair up with a striker but his best comes out playing behind the striker.

However, Solskjaer will need to contend with Arsenal manager Unai Emery in the race for the 20-year-old. It is believed that the Gunners manager is impressed with the report he got from his scouts who monitored the youngster’s performance against Iceland on Thursday.
The under-fire Arsenal manager has seen his defenders conceded 17 goals in 12 Premier League matches this season, a record which has led to fans displeasure.
The Spaniard is equally linked with a move for Demiral’s services as part of his plans to improve his defence in the second half of the campaign.
The same source further revealed that Serie A side AC Milan are equally keeping a close tab on the player’s situation under Maurizio Sarri, and they hope to beat the two Premier League giants to his services.
