Paris St Germain player Adrien Rabiot is currently looking at the possibility of joining Juventus in the next season after confirming he has held talks with the Serie A side.
The French midfielder whose contract with the Ligue 1 Champions ends July 1 is at crossroads having been the target of Manchester United and Arsenal.
The 24 year-old recently admitted that he had no idea where he is headed in the summer. Now with Juventus coming into the scene, his future may become clearer.
It looks as though Juventus are keen on making proposals to free top stars in the market. We can count the likes of Sami Khedira, Aaron Ramsey, and now Rabiot.
Unlike Ramsey who wasn’t offered a new deal at Arsenal though, the midfielder refused to sign an extension with the French capital club PSG. This led to him being dropped by manager Thomas Tuchel.
He was reportedly close to joining Spanish champions Barcelona in January. However, the deal couldn’t materialize.
The player has admitted that he would love to play for the Italian champions while English outfit Manchester United are also another consideration to make before making a final decision.
“I like Italy very much, staying here is wonderful, you rest and you recuperate,” the French midfielder told Corriere dello Sport.
“A demanding season awaits me. I have spoken with Juventus, but we can’t say anything.
“I still don’t know where I will go. It is a great club where every good player would like to play.
Rabiot has made a total of 240 appearances for PSG since breaking into the team in 2012 as a 17 year-old. The midfielder has scored a total of 25 goals winning five league cups, four French cups, and five Ligue 1 titles while just 24.
