Arsenal are on the cusp of signing 17-year-old Brazilian attacker
Gabriel Martinelli, this is according to UOL.
Arsenal are expected to make some signings at the opening of the summer transfer window but it appears they are already winning in transfers.
Martinelli has reportedly traveled to Italy in order to get his passport
he’s eligible for via his father. If he secures his password, he would not have a need for securing a work permit.
Emery has been monitoring the growth and development of the player – it looks as though he would be our first signing at the end of the season.
The Gunners are not the only club linked with a move for the player.
Brazilian clubs like Flamengo and Cruzeiro have been touted to go for his signature but it appears that the Ituano wide attacker has favoured a move to the Premier league with Arsenal.
Despite his age, he scored six goals and assisted three 14 games for the Brazilian club. He is currently the second on the goal scorers chat for
Campeonato Paulista of this year.
Arsenal will do with one or two quality wingers given the form of Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
