Arsenal are currently in a long drawn battle with Dalian Yinfang over their interest for Belgian attacker Yannick Carrasco. A breakthrough for the Gunners may just be in sight following emerging reports.
According to reports, Yannick Carrasco has agreed a four year deal to join Arsenal.
Carrasco has appeared on the Arsenal transfer radar since the January transfer window but his valuation has been the stumbling block to the transfer. The Gunners opted to sign Dennis Suarez after they failed in their effort to land the aforementioned Belgian stalwart in the January transfer window.
Since Arsenal signified interest in him, he has laid bare his desire to move back to Europe but his club are playing hardball over his transfer. The Gunners offer for him is said to be short of his valuation and he is not close to seeing out his contract.
But according to TMW as quoted by Sportwitness, Carrasco has agreed to join Arsenal on a four year contract that is worth €6m per season. The report further claims Arsenal have submitted a €25m bid for him.
Arsenal have a limited transfer budget. Should Dalian accept their bid for Carrasco, they would have spent half of their transfer budget for this summer.
We understand that Dalian are not in a hurry to let the winger leave but they may be forced to do so if he hands in a request.
