Arsenal to replace Aaron Ramsey with £17.2m midfielder

Arsenal will make an attempt in the summer to sign French and Paris Saint Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku, this is according to reports.

Aaron Ramsey, who is the longest serving player at Arsenal will be joining Juventus next season, leaving Arsenal with the task of replacing him. Having worked with Nkunku, it appears that Emery wants a reunion with the midfielder.

The sensational midfielder has struggled to nick a permanent place in the team of Tomas Tuchel and it is widely claimed he wants out of the club.

The Evening Standard reports that Paris Saint Germain are willing to offload the star but on the condition that the Gunners would meet his
£17.2m  asking price.

Arsenal have surprisingly lost their last three games in the League to mid-table teams. Emery is expected to bolster his squad but his focus is expected to be his wing and defence.

The Gunners take on Valencia in the Europa Cup tonight, where they will be hoping to bounce back from strings of defeats and even win the competition.
