Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has been sensational this season scoring 10 goals in all competitions this season. however, his future remains subject of speculations with the player revealing his desire to play for real Madrid at a point in his career.
Chelsea have begun to prepare alternatives for the winger and Watford striker Roberto Pereyra has been earmarked as a potential replacement according to the Express. The tabloid reveals that Pereyra has a standing agreement with Watford in which the club would consider offers from a bigger club for the player.
The Argentina international has shone this season scoring five goals in 11 appearances for the Hornets who currently sit 8th on the league table. He has consistently received plaudits from pundits for his all-around improvement to his game. Pereyra currently earns £45,000 weekly and Chelsea would be able to double his wages.
Pereyra is a good player and has shown quality this season but is still some levels below Eden Hazard if the Blues are to replace the Belgium star. Chelsea would be best served to convince the Belgium international to sign a new contract than trying to replace him. Pererya was signed in 2016 from Juventus and has made 56 appearances scoring 12 goals.
