Chelsea have stolen the march in the transfer of Brazilian starlet Kaio Jorge and have reportedly sent scouts to watch the forward. According to the Daily, Mail Chelsea are intent on securing the youngster and sent scouts to each Jorge matches for Brazil Youth teams. Jorge is from the famous Santos youth academy and is touted to follow in the footsteps of fellow youth product Neymar.
Jorge has already featured for the senior side and became the sixth-youngest debutante in September when he played against Atletico-PR. Jorge has shown an immense talent for a player of his age and has also impressed for Brazil’s youth sides. The 16-year old scored 4 goals in three games for Brazil’s u15 squad and has been promoted to play for the u17 team. Chelsea are looking to snap Jorge before other clubs begin to register interest.
Chelsea have a history with Brazillian players with Ramires, Oscar, Davi Luiz and Willian among those that have featured for the Blues in recent years. Jorge would be expected to move into the u18 squad if he completes a move to London
Jorge could become the next best thing for Chelsea in the nearest future if allowed to thrive within the club’s youth setup.
