Chelsea have received a massive boost to replace Real Madrid bound Eden Hazard. This follows from reports that Barcelona are willing to sell flop playmaker Phillipe coutinho, per reports.
Zinedine Zidane is huge admirer of Hazard and he has sanctioned a Real Madrid did for the Belgian attacker. It is widely reported that Hazard will move to the Santiago Bernabeu after Chelsea’s Europa League clash against Arsenal on May 29th.
Hazard has refused to extend his contract with Chelsea because he dreams of playing for Madrid. Knowing it would be difficult to convince the aforementioned Belgian to stay, the Blues have set their sight on signing coutinho as replacement for Hazard.
Coutinho joined Barcelona in a big money move from Liverpool in the January of 2018 but the hierarchy of club are not pleased with his poor show offs, hence, they are willing to offload him.
According to Sport,Chelsea will have to part with £100million to sign the Brazilian midfield schemer, the report further claims.
Although Chelsea have appealed a transfer ban that was handed to them, they are likely going to be able to sign a player before a final decision on the ban is made.
Coutinho will no doubt be a top-notch replacement for Hazard.
