The Gunners signed William Saliba from Saint-Etienne but the 18-year-old returned to the club on loan.
The departure of Laurent Koscielny further left the back-line of Arsenal weakened and they have moved to sign Luiz.
Luiz is one player who does not really fancy a particular Jersey number.
He used to don the number 23 Jersey while lacing his boots for Benfica. This shirt was worn by Danny Welbeck before he was released last summer and it is now available.
The Brazilian was handed the number 4 shirt in his first spell with the Blues but when he joined PSG, he was given 32 and on his return to Chelsea, he now wears the 30 shirt.
32 is available at Arsenal after Chuba Akpom relinquished it but 30 is not available as it is won by Eddie Nketiah.
Koscielny’s departure means he’d likely be given the number 6 shirt at Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney is currently having medical at Arsenal, we expect him to wear the #3 that’s been available.
The aforementioned players can take any of the following numbers as well 12, 13, 22, 23, 33, and 36.
Arsenal are one of the biggest spenders in this window and we expect them to come really good next season.
