Thomas Meunier is not interested in joining Arsenal or Manchester United this summer, and this has come as a huge blow for the Premier League clubs.
Meunier has featured prominently in the news since the opening of the transfer window. The Belgian has entered the final year of his contract with Paris Saint Germain and he has been heavily linked with a move away from Parc des Princes.
United are in the market to sign a right back following the departure of Anthony Valencia. Although they have recently been linked with the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace, Meunier is thought to be their prime target.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also looking to fill the void created by the absence of Stephan Lichsteiner and Meunier has been linked with the club. However, the Gunners have to look elsewhere if they must sign a right back as the player has played down a possible move away from the club.
“I will repeat myself again: my ambition is to stay in Paris. If they want me, that will be even better – we will be hand in hand. If they do not want me, then we will find a solution,” said Meunier per Teamtalk
Meunier played a bit-part role for PSG last season but he shone when ever he was called upon to play.
The player is valued at €25-30million.
