Manchester United have reportedly held talks with Serie A champions Juventus over signing Joao Cancelo as part of the deal to sell Paul Pogba, according to reports.
Paul Pogba has been tracked by both Real Madrid and Juventus this summer. The two clubs are hugely interested in taking the Frenchman to Spain and Italy respectively.
Having signed the likes of Luka Jovic and Eden Hazard in the past week, it is likely that Real Madrid will want to take some time before making another £100m+ purchase.
Juve, on the other hand, are ready to bring back their favourite boy as they look to stage a serious fight for the UEFA Champions League next season.
United’s right back dilemma is growing by the day as Crystal Palace want nothing less than £60m for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, a highly valued player by the Eagles. The Red Devils’ valuation of the player is around £50m, and they are ready to look elsewhere should Palace hold out for their original asking fee.
According to the Metro via Sky Sport Italia, Juve director Fabio Paratici recently flew to London to discuss with United over possible transfer for Pogba.
The director is believed to have held talks with United over Pogba whom United want to sell for £130m. he is also holding talks with City over a possible £45m deal for Cancelo.
Juventus are unwilling to pay that much for Pogba, and United won’t be interested in making any deal with Juve for a lower price except the full back Cancelo is included as part of the deal.
