Sheyi Ojo is on the brink of joining Scottish club Rangers after agreeing terms on a season long loan deal, according to reports.
Steven Gerard is building a team of experience and youth this summer and he has already added four players to his squad. Ojo is set to be the fifth signing of the club.
Ojo was keenly watched by the scouts of Liverpool while he was lacing his boots for MK Dons, where he started his career. He joined Liverpool in the November of 2011 with the pedigree of a very talented player after a deal was sanctioned for him.
In a bid to fast track his development, he has been sent on various loan spells. The winger spent last season on loan at Reims and despite failing to score in the League last season, Liverpool handed him a five year deal because of their belief in him.
According to theScottishsun, Ojo will link up with the Gers this week, and he’ll compete with the likes of ordan Jones, Jake Hastie, Greg Stewart, and possibly Kent on the wing.
Liverpool have not signed any player in the window but they are one of the favourites to win the title next season.
If Ojo must justify a return to Liverpool, he has to start scoring goals.
