Jurgen Klopp sanction Reds deal for Jean-Clair Todibo

Liverpool have been impressive this season with Jurgen Klopp’s side looking like the closest challengers Manchester City for the premier league title. A major reason for their upward surge is the number and quality of signings they have made. Van Dijk has brought class to the back while Alisson has solved the conundrum of the Goalkeeping situation.

According to news from Italian tabloid Tuttosport, the Reds have identified their next transfer coup in the form of Toulouse defender Jean-Clair Todibo.  The teenage starlet has caught the eyes of several clubs in Europe due to his impressive performances in Ligue 1 this season. Todibo transfer situation is unique as the 18-year-old is yet to sign a professional contract with Toulouse.

Liverpool are ready to tempt the player with a good offer which would see the player move in the summer on a free transfer. However, Borrusia Dortmund and Leipzig are also interested in Todibo and it could be a three-way battle for the highly rated teenager. Liverpool have become experts under Klopp’s tenure of identifying free transfers. Dominic Solanke, Joel Matip are examples of high profile players signed by the German on a free transfer.
