Liverpool star on the brink of sealing Bundesliga transfer

Published

Jurgen Klopp earned rave reviews last season for featuring almost all his registered players last season. Despite his ability to rotate his squad, there are players whose best bet at playing regularly is away from Anfield.

Marko Grujic wants to stay put at Liverpool but it appears that he’d spend the whole of next season on another loan spell in the Bundesliga, according to reports.

Following wide interest in the star, Grujic arrived Liverpool from Red Star Belgrade in the January of 2016. Despite being loved by Klopp, the youngster has been unable to stake a claim in the first team of Klopp.

The 23-year-old star has spent the last two seasons on various loan spells. However, he made a huge impression with Hertha Berlin last term, where he scored five goals in 22 games, and this is despite playing centrally in midfield.

The presence of James Milner, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson means Grujic has to exceptional to break into the first team of the Reds. Milner is expected to call time on his career at the end of next season, and that would create space for Grujic to come in.

As per ESPN, Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in the Serbian star and the Reds are resolved to allowing him leave for another season.

The Reds are yet to sign a player in this window but they are still dubbed as one of the favourites to clinch the EPL.

With the official opening of the transfer window fast approaching, the top clubs of the League have already begun putting strategies in place that will ensure they sign their target. However, we are bound to see stern competition for signatures.

Liverpool have signalled interest in Scottish and Bournemouth winger Ryan Frazer, according to latest reports. The 25-year-old star arrived Bournemouth from Aberdeen in the January of 2018 and he has steadily increased his stock by seasons.

The immediate past season was his best for the Cherries – he scored six goals in the League and provided 14 assists in all competitions, attracting interest from the Premier League top guns.

Arsenal are in dire need of players and they are considering making an offer for Frazer. The show-off of Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan has left the Gunners searching for improved options for that position. Meanwhile, Man United have a chunk of potent wingers but Solskjaer could do with another player and Frazer has tickled his fancy.

The Sun reports that £30m will be enough to pry the 25-year-old star away from Bournemouth. Klopp is known to have the ability to transform players and they are likely going to make an offer for him to make him a star as further claimed by the report.
