Man United have ‘agreed deal’ for second summer signing, Player reacts

Portuguese midfielder Bruno Fernandes is set to become the second summer signing of Man United after reports  indicated a deal for his transfer has been agreed upon.

United’s desire to add to their midfield stems from the departure of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera, who left the club in the January transfer window and this summer respectively. The Club are looking to reinforce this aspect of their squad following the dearth of options at the moment.

Fernandes is one of the best midfielders in the Portuguese league having ended the season with 19 League goals in 31 appearances. He is currently wanted by several clubs but United have been  mentioned as his most probable next destination.

And now, there are claims that a deal is already in place for the player’s move.  Pietro Balzano Prota, the director of Italian outlet Radio Rossonera, made the claim while responding to a question on twitter.

The player is valued at  £70million and there is no telling of the Red Devils would be willing to spend the said amount to sign him.,

Tottenham and Manchester City have also been linked with signing the 24-year-old who featured for Portuguese in the Nations League final. He was quizzed about a possible move to United but he remained coy over his future.

“I know nothing, I will take the next few days to understand what is true,” Fernandes told Sport Mediaset.

“We know that newspapers sometimes have to make a show to move the market and sell. I’m calm, I’m at a big club. I don’t need to move, I’m not trying to leave.

“If the opportunity comes to go to a team that you can’t refuse, I’ll talk to Sporting.’
