Manchester United may have pulled the plug on the chase of Aaron Wan-Bissaka following reports that they are considering a move for Dutch and PSV Eindhoven right back Denzel Dumfries.
United are currently looking to replace Antonio Valencia and they have been linked with a plethora of players. Crystal Palace star Wan-Bissaka is top on the list of Man United for the right back position but the London club have refused to budge to the offers of the Red Devils despite submitting two bids.
Following the refusal of Palace to accept United offers, they have turned their attention to 23-year-old Dutch star. According to the Sun, United believe they will be able to prise Dumfries out of PSV with a £25m bid, which is far less than what Palace and PSG are holding out for Wan-Bissaka and Meunier respectively.
The report further claims Dumfries has been in the good books of the United scouts, who have asked Ed Woodward to make a move to sign the player.
Should United sign Dumfries, it will be a fantastic piece of business given the quality of the player – he is quick and many have pundits have rated him highly in terms of his attacking ability.
