France international Tiemoue Bakayoko is reportedly one of Chelsea players who could leave Stamford Bridge this summer as two Ligue 1 giants are trailing his situation under Frank Lampard.
Bakayoko, who had a great loan spell at AC Milan last season, is surplus to requirements as he is not rated by Frank Lampard.
With some days to the end of the European summer transfer market, the Frenchman is hoping to dump the Blues in search of regular first-team opportunities to rediscover his form.
Luckily, two clubs from his country PSG and Monaco are keenly interested in him as both clubs want to add homegrown talents to their respective squads.
Monaco were first linked with the player but latest report via the Daily Express has it that the Parc des Princes outfit are set to compete with their rival for the player.
Despite acquiring the services of Ander Herrera and Idrissa Gueye from Manchester United and Everton respectively, PSG manager Thomas Tuchel still desires to add one or two new signings to his midfield setup.
If Transfermarkt’s evaluation is anything to trust, then, PSG should be ready to release nothing less than €35m to Chelsea for the midfielder.
Meanwhile, the Blues recorded their first stalemate of the season after playing a 1-1 draw against Leicester City on Sunday.
A seven-minute goal from Mason Mount gave the Blues a first-half lead but Wilfred Ndidi equalized for the visiting Brendan Rodgers’ men in the second half as both sides settled for a draw.
Chelsea star has been asked to leave club in January
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has been advised to dump Chelsea in January if he must continue to feature in Didier Deschamps’ squad ahead of Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The World Cup winner lost his place at Stamford Bridge to Tammy Abraham prior to the start of the season and he has only featured in just six games for the Blues.
Considering the player’s experience and importance to his team, France national team head coach Deschamps has advised the former Arsenal centre-forward to end his spell at Stamford Bridge if he fail break into Lampard’s starting lineup before the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are said to be eyeing a possible move for Giroud as Conte hopes to work with the player having failed to work with him during his days as Chelsea manager.
According to Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, the San Siro outfits are already in talks with the Blues and a deal could be reached in or before January.
Moving out of the West London club could be the best option for Giroud as it is very unlikely to see Lampard drop in-form Abraham from his list of regular starters.
Giroud has played 44 Premier League matches and has scored five goals since joining the Blues in 2018.
Chelsea in battle with Manchester United over £71m star
Chelsea are looking to sign French and Lyon striker Moussa Dembele, according to reports.
Chelsea might be able to sign players in the January transfer window if their appeal at the Court of Arbitration for sports goes through on the 20th of November.
The West London club was handed a two window transfer ban before this year’s summer transfer window but they are looking to turn that.
Dembele has scored eight goals in 11 league games since the start of the season and he has drawn attention to himself.
Manchester United are said to be keeping tabs on the 23-year-old striker, with reports indicating they’d make a move for him when the transfer window comes alive in January.
The Red Devils are yet to replace Romelu Lukaku, who was sold to Inter Milan in the summer transfer window but they are looking to sign Dembele in his stead.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are already preparing for life after Olivier Giroud and they have as well pinned Dembele for signing should they be able to reinforce their squad in January, reports the Daily Mail .
Giroud has found game time difficult to come by this season and there are claims he could walk away at the end of this campaign, same goes for Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi.
Tammy Abraham might be the only out-and out striker at the club.
The report claims Lyon would accept no less £71million to allow the star striker leave.
Lampard reveals the style of play he has asked Chelsea to adopt
Frank Lampard has revealed the philosophy on which his Chelsea team are playing.
The former Three Lions midfielder has transformed Chelsea to a side that attacks their opponent and their form has been relatively impressive.
Chelsea got the better of Burnley in a Premier league game last weekend and speaking after the game, Lampard revealed how he sets his team to play.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, he said:
“I want the ball to be moved quickly, and be a little bit unpredictable. I want you to be able to see a clip of us playing out but also have the ability to go long and hit Tammy.”
Despite not signing any player in the summer and allowing Eden Hazard leave, Chelsea are currently in fourth place on the log, just two points behind Manchester City in second place.
Italian midfield maestro found Tammy Abraham with a split inch-perfect pass and the youngster finished it beautifully.
The rest of the game saw Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic ran rally in midfield as they retained possession for the Blues.
Chelsea of last season and yesteryears played a type of conservative football that saw them suffered without the ball but there has been a fresh breath for the side since the appointment of Lampard.
